Dr. Brian Rague is Dean of the College of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology and Professor of the School of Computing at Weber State University. Over 25 years of his professional career has been devoted to education and corporate technology training. Dr. Rague earned his Bachelor’s degree from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, his Master’s degree from MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics, and his PhD from the University of Utah in Computer Science. For many years, he was heavily involved in various NASA projects, both as a graduate student at MIT and as a research engineer at Caltech and the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, CA. He is the co-author of a recently published book on Data Science. His research interests involve machine learning, formal system analysis, and parallel computing.
