Aaron Starks is the CEO and President of 47G – Utah Aerospace & Defense, where he leads statewide efforts to accelerate innovation and strengthen Utah’s aerospace ecosystem. He works closely with industry partners, research institutions, and community organizations to advance emerging technologies, develop the next generation of aerospace talent, and expand access to capital for high growth companies. A Utah native and first generation college graduate, Starks holds degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Utah and an MBA in international business and strategy from Duke University. His global leadership experience includes spearheading FranklinCovey’s expansion across Asia and later supporting nearly 100 companies in advanced industries through his work at World Trade Center Utah. He lives in South Jordan with his wife and three children.
