Denise Fletcher Call is a Northern Utah ecosystem leader working at the intersection of aerospace and defense, higher education, industry, and community. In Strategic Engagement at Weber State University, she helps translate national defense workforce needs into collaborative action — aligning universities, employers, municipalities, and innovation partners around shared priorities. She is the founder of IDEA SparkLab, an agile nonprofit that champions early-stage ideas and emerging voices, grounded in the belief that strong ecosystems help bold ideas thrive. Denise actively collaborates with 47G, APEX Accelerators, GOEO, The Nucleus Institute, chambers of commerce, and regional institutions to strengthen alignment across Utah’s defense and innovation landscape. A doctoral researcher in organizational leadership, she is passionate about building systems that empower people and expand what communities can accomplish together.
