Commissioner Sharon Arrington Bolos is a lifelong Weber County resident whose dedication to public service began early, inspired by her grandfather Jack Arrington’s 20 years in the Utah Legislature. Raised in North Ogden, she later earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Weber State University and a Master of Public Administration from Southern Utah University. After moving to West Haven, she served on the City Council and then as Mayor, emphasizing transparency, community involvement, and responsible growth. Since joining the Weber County Commission in 2023, Sharon has remained committed to listening to residents, supporting county employees, and finding practical solutions through open dialogue. She and her husband, Gus, have six adult children and enjoy spending time with family, volunteering locally, and staying active outdoors.
