Colonel, USAF Commander 75th Air Base Wing Hill Air Force Base, Utah

Col. Daniel L. Cornelius serves as the Commander of the 75th Air Base Wing and Installation Commander at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He leads installation support for the Ogden Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings, and more than 50 associate units, supporting a total force of 27,000 active?duty, civilian, and contractor personnel. His wing also supports Air Expeditionary Forces and provides base operations for the 1.1?million?acre Utah Test and Training Range. Commissioned in 1999 as a distinguished ROTC graduate from the University of Cincinnati, Colonel Cornelius has extensive experience in fighter, mobility, and remotely piloted aircraft maintenance. He has held key staff roles across the Air Force, Joint Staff, and the Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense, and has deployed in support of multiple major operations. Prior to his current role, he commanded the 402nd Aircraft Maintenance Group at Robins AFB, Georgia.
